British independent publisher, Accomplish Press who specialise in contemporary fiction, romance, literary and children’s books for the Black British and African diaspora market, are pleased to announce the launch of their exciting first contemporary romance novel, Nothing Comes Close.
Nothing Comes Close explores the usual love story in a very fresh manner, employing lovely prose, suspense and the posing of serious questions to tell an immensely entertaining story. The story is set in London, Milton Keynes and Lagos, with a cast of intriguing characters that showcase a realistic portrayal of the lives of young, ambitious Nigerians in the diaspora.
The launch party will take place on the 1st of December 2012 at the Vortex Jazz Club, 11 Gillett Square, London N16 8AZ from 2pm – 6pm. The Vortex Jazz Club is housed in Dalston Culture House, a stunning four-storey cultural and arts workspace and it makes an excellent setting for the book launch. The book will also be launching on Amazon on the same day.
Readers and fans will have the opportunity to meet the author, have nibbles and drinks, win gifts and prizes and have the first chance at grabbing the newly released book with a special autograph. Acclaimed author of Kemi’s Journal, and many other books, Abidemi Sanusiwill be a special guest at the event and will coordinate the book reading and an interview with the author.

About the author – Tolulope Popoola was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She moved to England for her university education where she studied BA Accounting and Business Economics, and a Masters in Finance and Investment. She started blogging in 2006, which rekindled her love for writing and telling stories. In 2008, she left her Accounting job to concentrate on writing full-time.
